The
Alameda Corridor - East Construction Authority
(ACE) will commence construction of the
Ramona Boulevard roadway underpass.
The construction will require the
full closure of Ramon Boulevard between
Valley and Orchard Street for approximately
21 months beginning on April 29, 2005.
Traffic will be detoured onto Peck
and Valley and force the rerouting of transit
routes such as MTA, Foothill and El Monte’s
Blue Trolley Route.
The
Blue Route detours are designed to provide
optimal transit service while avoiding Peck
and Valley, which will be heavily impacted
by rerouted traffic. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause our riders.
If you have any questions or concerns,
please feel free to contact the El Monte
Transportation Services Office at 580-2217.
For information regarding the ACE
project please call (888) ACE-1426 or visit
the web site www.theaceproject.org.
