Currently Homeless in El Monte?

 Winter Shelter for the Homeless
The Winter Shelter opens on December 1st and operates continuously until March 15th. The Coalition contacts and arranges forr the different church sites for a two-week stay and transports the clients to each site. It coordinates the thousands of volunteers who provide food, clothing, hygiene kits, soap, towels for the showers and other supplies.
 
When: December 1, 2011 through March 15, 2012
 
Daily Hours of Operation: 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the next day.

Bus #1 Pick Up Points:

1. Time: 5:00-5:10 p.m.

Location: Boys and Girls Club Parking Lot. Cross streets: parking lot at Mountain View and Magnolia Ave.
 
2. Time 5:20-5:30 p.m.
Location: Pioneer Park Parking Lot. Cross streets: Santa Anita Ave and Raymond Ave.
 
Note: Times mat vary due to traffic or weather. Schedule may be adjustedto meet current needs.
