Investigative Services

Investigative Services has a total personnel of 23 detectives, supervised by three sergeants and managed by one captain.
 
Investigative Services consists of the following units:
 
 
The purpose of the Cold Case Unit is to re-examine older unsolved cases with an emphasis on homicides.
 
 
The Court Officer is responsible for preparing and assisting the detectives with criminal cases for presentation to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
 
 
The Detective Bureau is responsible for some of the most serious part I crimes in the FBI's list of crimes.
 
 
The primary function of the Special investigations Team (SIT) is the investigation of narcotic and vice crimes.
