The City's Finance Department is currently staffed by fifteen clerical and professional employees and one elected official. Its functions are separated into two distinct divisions, Accounting and Treasury/License.

CITY TREASURER
Henry Velasco

This division is staffed by five clerical employees and one professional supervisor. There is also the elected City Treasurer. The division processes approximately 400 business permits, 4800 business tax renewals, 2,000 multiple residential rental unit business tax renewals, payments of utility tax from 160 utilities (gas, electric, and telecommunications providers), payments of AB939 fees from 9 trash haulers, and all other cash deposits for the City.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER

The mission of the Information Technology division is to provide a high level of personal, customer-focused technical support to all city departments, helping to ensure the most efficient delivery of city programs and services to the community.
