The Office of the City Clerk is here to serve as custodian of the City's legal records.  As custodian of the City's records, the office files and retrieves the actions taken by the City Council and the City's other legislative bodies.  Moreover, the office is responsible for distributing those documents to City officials, City Employees and other interested parties in accordance with State and Federal freedom of information laws.

When are the City Council Meetings held?

  City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, located at 11333 E. Valley Boulevard, City Hall East. 
When are the El Monte Community Redevelopment Agency Meetings held?
  The Agency meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the Administrative Office Conference Room, located at 11333 E. Valley Boulevard, City Hall East.

  Voter registration cards are available in the City Clerk's Office.  Application forms can be mailed upon request.
